Talk to us
We read everything. Corrections are acted on quickly, because a wrong figure on this site costs someone money.
Who you are writing to
DelayPayouts is an independent information website covering EU Regulation 261/2004 and UK air passenger rights.
It is published and operated by Optimus, based in Tel Aviv, Israel.
We are not an airline, a regulator, a law firm or a claims management company. We cannot look up your booking, submit a claim for you, or give you legal advice on your individual case.
One address handles everything: general questions, corrections to published guidance, partnership and commercial enquiries, and privacy requests. We aim to reply within five working days. Corrections affecting a published figure or a legal threshold are prioritised.

Reporting a correction
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. It helps to include:
- The page and the sentence or figure you believe is incorrect.
- What it should say instead.
- A source — an official page, a court judgment, or a regulator's guidance.
Corrections that are upheld are made openly, and the page's review date is updated. We do not quietly delete things we got wrong.
What we cannot help with
To be clear and to save you time:
- We cannot tell you if your specific claim will succeed. That depends on the airline's records, the cause of the disruption and the applicable national practice.
- We cannot contact an airline on your behalf. We have no representative relationship with any airline.
- We cannot chase or progress a claim for you. The tools here help you do it yourself.
- We do not provide legal advice. For a dispute of significant value, or where a time limit may be running, consult a qualified lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction.
If you are a passenger with a live problem
The fastest routes are already on this site, and they are free:
- Check what may apply to your flight — about two minutes.
- Build your claim letter — reviewed and sent by you.
- If the airline has already refused you — how to read the refusal and escalate.
- The full EU261 and UK261 guide — the rules in full.
Editorial and commercial standards
How this site is funded, and the rules we follow when a link earns us money, are set out in full on the editorial policy page. The short version: claiming directly from the airline is always free, we publish that route in full, and any paid link is labelled at the point you see it.
